These notes are all circulated (some lower grade) and have some or all of the following: folding and wear (also may have many heavier creases and many areas of wrinkled folding); overall staining and darker areas of spot/line/section stains (also may have many smudges, many dark and dirty areas, grease stains, areas of discoloration, possible foreign substance); heavy edge and corner wear (includes corners rounded and/or split/frayed - edges rough in areas); edge indents/nicks (some with tears and some tears are larger); heavy surface wear and fraying (areas of paper loss exist); holes/inner tears (some are larger and some with punctures).
