Transit unit itself seems to be in good used condition. Sighting/glass seems clear, no cracks in the glass. Level bubble also seems fine. And appears to have all screw adjusters in place. Marked as instrument # 1B-1297, with original inspection slip. Original wooden box has wear and scratches. Leather handle is worn and cracking but still intact and usable. One of the interior support blocks is detached from the lid. This lot also includes a brass plumb and a handheld scope in a leather carrying case, as shown.
