This is a pre-assembled Switchcraft 3 way short frame, long thread Toggle Switch, built with top quality Gavitt Braided Wire. This assembly will work with Gibson, Epiphone and Imported Les Pauls. The assembly has been professionally soldered and has been fully tested before shipping. Features:- 1 x Switchcraft 3 Way Toggle Switch (Switchcraft is the #1 choice of guitar builders) 1 x 20 inch Gavitt Braided Wire from Switch to Jack. 2 x 14 inch Gavitt Braided Wire from switch to Pots. We now color code the braided wires. The yellow goes to the neck volume pot. The red to the bridge volume pot and the white goes to the jack. The wires will be slightly too long, so as to allow you to trim them if you want a cleaner look in your control cavity. Please check the last image, when installing it, do not handle it in the middle where the contacts are located. If you damage or bend the spring steel contact plates, the switch will not work as it is supposed to. The last thing I do with this switch, before shipping, is to do a full test with a circuit tester on all 3 positions.
