This circa 1959 Black Bakelite cased CHELSEA CLOCK Co maritime mechanical clock is the nicest example we have ever had. The dial is about 8" across, the Bakelite case adds a little and it is about 3" deep. I have included a skeleton type key that will work to wind the clock. The black dial is excellent, there are no chips or cracks to the fine Bakelite case and I dont see anything negative to note on the clock. I gave it a few turns with the key and it ran perfectly for days and days. The front glass opens with a simple screw and swings out to access the dial.
