A Edwardian silver case originally for a cigarette or cheroot holder but equally useful for needles etc. Hallmarked in Chester in 1902 by William Neale carrying marks to both the body of the case and the inside of the lid. Good clear hallmarks. The inside of the case is beautifully gilded. It has a ring to the bottom of the case which is also hallmarked. Weight: 11.4 Grams approx 6 cm approx Condition: In good antique condition commensurate with age and normal usage. Normal surface marks in line with usage and age. Good hinge and closing spring.
