Pro’s Closet sold it at some point. But I did not buy it from them. I ride a lot of different bikes, and I wanted to try one with an absurd STA. This one was less expensive than the 87deg Eimei NJS frame I really wanted. But yeah, 83 degrees. Does it make you faster? Yeah for a few minutes maybe. Is it uncomfortable? It’s not as weird as you might think. But there will be a moment when you stand up to pedal and realize the saddle is still between your thighs. Head tube angle is 72-73, so it steers very relaxed Despite how you’re sitting. I rode this fixed with a 5” BMX bar, and loved that the weird geometry let me bar spin easily. Fork is steel and carbon, and clearly original. This should not be your only bike. It probably won’t be your favorite. But if you’re like me and you need to try things for yourself. This is one you will love trying. I absolutely don’t want to sell it, but I have too many bikes and desperately want a titanium frame next. I’ve only ridden this bike about 200 miles in the past 7 or 8 years and it deserves better. Top tube is 57cm c-c Seat tube 55.5 c-c and 58.5 c-t It feels as tall as a 59, almost a 60. Includes decent headset and gorgeous Specialized carbon seatpost which has been shimmed up to ~30.8mm. I did not try to find a correct post for it.
