Plastic beakers graduated cylinders, funnels, glass stir sticks, rulers and tape measures were all used with Apologia Biology, in my Classical Conversations class. I preferred to use actual science equipment instead of teaspoons, because when they get to college, they're not going to use teaspoons in their lab.
