This type of hidden tang design is perfect for use with antler tips, stag tapers, handle blocks, rolls and more. The blade on this model is AUS8 and is 0.625 inches wide at its widest point. The blade length is 3.375 inches and the thickness is 0.125 inches. It comes hollow ground, satin finished and has a brass slide-on finger guard with matching 0.093 inch pin. This is a great little knife kit, and is a fun, affordable and very simple project to complete. The hidden tang has a pre-drilled 0.093 inch diameter hole in it for use with any standard pin material, including mosaic pins, and hidden bolt fasteners (stainless steel pinstock included).
