Cocos A - Base Nutrients 1 Liter by Plagron Cocos A is one part of a two-part concentrated liquid fertilizer. Specifically designed for plants grown in coco coir substrate (type of growing medium), providing a balanced blend of nutrients to support healthy growth and flowering throughout the entire plant cycle, making it suitable for various types of buffered coconut substrates and offering wide applicability across different growing situations. This liquid fertilizer is easy to use and formulated for optimum results. Cocos A contains calcium while Cocos B contains phosphorus. These elements are known to bind to each other and crystalize, or 'precipitate'. When these elements precipitate, the nutrients are no longer available for the plant to absorb and use. However, when both nutrients are added to water separately, the solution is diluted so that calcium and phosphorus are no longer precipitated and the nutrients remain available to the plants. Thus, a two-part system for maximum absorption of these nutrients was developed.
