An adaptor that allows the connection of flexible (eg, Tygon) tubing to glassware by a Standard Taper ground glass joint. Can be used to control the introduction of a liquid, atmosphere, or vacuum, but the bottom joint is modified to be a sealed, blunt drip-through tip. The ground glass conical portion measures 19/32, as if it were shortened from a standard 19/35 inner joint. The ground glass portion starts 60 mm above the bottom of the integrated drip tip. The top straight tubing has a 8 mm outer diameter and is collinear with the inner joint. Two horns allow attachment of a rubber band or other securing of an attached outer joint.
