An adaptor that allows the connection of flexible (eg, Tygon) tubing to glassware by a Standard Taper ground glass joint. Can be used to control the introduction of a liquid, atmosphere, or vacuum, but the bottom joint is modified to be a sealed, blunt drip-through tip. The ground glass conical portion measures 24/43, as if it were extended from a standard 24/40 inner joint. The ground glass portion starts 70 mm above the bottom of the integrated drip tip. The top straight tubing has a 8 mm outer diameter and is collinear with the inner joint. Two horns allow attachment of a rubber band or other securing of an attached outer joint. One hook is damaged (in one zoomed image it is closer to the metal ruler) but functional. The PTFE stopcock has a 2 mm bore, in a Pyrex 7282 unit.
