Please hear out my pitch! I worked hard on it, I feel like a true salesman today! These CPS boxes are extremely sturdy, better than the industry-leading BCW boxes! Do you want to pay for a brand name, or for the best box you can get?Check out my photos for a visual comparison, the BCW box has much thinner walls! They're only about 4mm. The CPS box has a robust double-wall structure with walls well over 5mm thick! I could hardly believe it! But will that extra wall thickness cause issues? NOPE: The lid on BCW boxes is excessively bulky and can cause issues with fitting multiple boxes onto a shelf! With a constructed width of 9.75 inches, you can't fit five of them side-by-side on a 48" shelf! You come up an inch short! 48-inch shelves are really common, how annoying! The CPS box, on the other hand, comes in at 9.375 inches wide with lid, allowing FIVE boxes to fit on a 48" shelf with about an inch of extra space! Do the math yourself if you don't believe me, this is a huge difference! If you're filling 48-inch shelves, that one inch is a deal-breaker!BCW boxes have huge BCW logos printed on the sides. CPS boxes are plain white. Do you want your inventory to advertise for BCW, or to look clean? But I won't just tell you what I want you to know... I'm also going to provide you some points that MIGHT be in favor of the BCW box: The BCW box has little handle flaps that fold into the grip hole, allowing for a more secure holding point. The CPS lacks these flaps. However, these flaps go into the box, taking up space... so they are not necessarily a good thing!The BCW box is about 5/16" wider on the interior. Depending what you're storing, you may need that extra 5/16". However, Magazine Boards are only 8.5" wide, and Golden Comic Boards are only 7.5" wide. If you're storing magazines or golden comics, the CPS box is an excellent fit for either!The CPS box is also ever so slightly smaller in interior length and height, due to the thicker stronger cardboard walls. However, it is still plenty large enough to fit Magazine backing boards and/or Golden Age Comics!
