The black and white dashed eighth inch markings show on both light and dark fabrics. The dashed 1 inch grid lines ensure accuracy when cutting pieces for miniature quilts. The black diamond markings highlight the 1/8" and whole inch markings. The ruler slides easily over the fabric until pressure is applied.
