Available now, for what may be the first time in HO Scale, are custom 3D printed coupler cut lever brackets catered towards modern freight cars of many types ! These are great for those looking to upgrade lesser detailed cars that otherwise did not include coupler cut levers. These fit intermodal, tank, hopper, box, or any other types of freight cars in today's railroad operations and are designed to scale. Please NOTE, you are getting one pair of the brackets, enough to outfit one car, both ends. These will ship unpainted and remain attached to the sprews for ease of shipment/painting.The coupler cut bar itself is NOT included. We recommend using Detail Associates #6215 if available, or Tangent Scale Models coupler cut levers; or your own wire if you choose. The bracket is designed to contain almost any wire cut lever with minor to zero modification. The second image shows what you will be recieving when you purchase this product (CIRCLED IN RED). The pictures for this listing are of the installed coupler cut lever brackets. Refer to 3D rendering image for closer view of product. This listing is for a bulk set of 10 pairs/20 EA. This will set you up for many hours of enhancing your railcar details! Installation instructions below:- Paint the upper portion of the bracket where it would be glued to the car first before de-sprucing. We recommend using a toothpick as an applicator and to thin the paint prior so it doesn't apply too thick. - After paint has dried, cut the piece from the spruce and glue onto the car in the desired location (refer to prototype photos if needed). We recommend CA (Super) glue for ease of installation and curing times.- Glue on your desired coupler cut lever. We recommend installing it un-painted. If difficulty is encountered upon gluing, you could opt to cut the U-shaped wire holder for easier gluing.- After the glue has settled, apply paint to the rest of the bracket and wire cut lever. Note that this whole assembly piece is fragile and extra care should be taken not to damage the parts.If there are any additional parts one might be interested in us creating, please let us know.Happy model railroading!
