Check the listing for details. Daedalon Variable AC DC Power Supply Superior Electric Powerstat 10C Transformer. Condition: Used. Listed at 170.00 USD. Daedalon Variable AC/DC Power Supply w/ Superior Electric Powerstat 10C Transformer **Read Description** This auction is for a Daedalon Variable AC/DC Power Supply, as pictured. Please read description completely to understand what you're buying, since DC circuit has an issue. Made in USA, clean former school system property. Compact size about 9" square x 4.5" high with weight of 17 pounds, has Powerstat 10C installed, along with two beefy looking transformers of unknown specs. Three prong jack on rear is variable 0-130 VAC, tested working fine, overload & circuit breaker protected. Front panel has banana jacks for variable 0-40VAC and 0-24VDC with digital displays for voltage and current output, pictures show voltage at max setting compared to a 35 year old uncalibrated meter. With voltage set to 115, rear jack powered up continuously a 100W boombox without issue, showing about .8 amps on panel meter. Tried it also with an electric heater rated 1000W at 8.3 amps, which powered up and worked for several seconds showing 7.5A on meter, before it tripped the resettable CB causing overload light to come on, so I'm guessing usable output is probably around 5-6 amps based on that, but don't know for sure. Front 0-40VAC jack shows good volts full range on meters, couldn't find a device with those voltage requirements, so untested under load. DC jack has a problem needing repair; with no load, voltage regulates fine on meter and amperes show negligible, but when a known good 12VDC unit normally drawing about 2A was plugged in, meter voltage remained the same, but current shot up to over 50A and unit didn't power on, though it still tested fine afterward using a different power source. Powerstat wasn't removed from unit, example picture of label are a different one of same type. I used too strong of detergent cleaning front panel which wiped some of the lettering, last photo shows a similar one intact for your reference. Fast shipping, quality packed, online trackable. Thanks for looking and for bidding! Items normally ship the next day, two at the most, after payment is received. Buyer pays actual shipping cost. I pack things right, wrapped & well protected, check my feedback and you'll see that mentioned often. Most items go FedEx Ground, online trackable, insured to full purchase price. Payment expected within 3 days of auction end. Thank you for your courtesy. I return all feedback received, sometimes it takes me a few days, but it will happen. For the extremely rare occasion (maybe once in the last 10 years) that damage occurs during shipping, it will be the responsibility of buyer to initiate and pursue a claim with the shipping company, normally Fedex. Items are described as accurately as possible and if said to be tested and working, then you can be assured it will ship that way. If sold "as is", buyer assumes all risk of any untested problem that may be present, with all sales final. I will NEVER auction something with known issues, without mentioning them in the listing, but I buy lots of equipment and sometimes acquire pieces that I either don't have the expertise to test, or don't have other equipment on hand required to perform testing, so occasionally have no choice but to sell those items "as is". Auctions are always "what you see & read is what you get", so if something is not shown in photos or described in text, such as interface cables, power cords, software, etc., it's probably not included. I'll be happy to answer questions by email, just please ask before, not after bidding. If upon delivery a problem is found that contradicts any statement made on auction and buyer decides to bypass a damage claim with the shipping company and instead return merchandise directly to me, then they will be responsible for return shipping cost along with a restock fee equal to 20% of bid amount, neither of which is refundable. I will then inspect and test merchandise and issue a refund if complaint is justified & serial numbers match. Items to be returned directly to me will only be accepted if I'm notified of such by email within 24 hours of delivery.
