This is a Dell PERC 6/I Integrated RAID controller with Dell P/N T954J (0T954J). This is specifically designed to work in the special "Integrated storage PCIe slot" found in Dell 9th, 10th, and 11th gen servers. The controller is fully tested, with latest Dell firmware for the PERC 6/I (FW Package 6.3.3-0002). Testing includes factory reset of controller settings, clearing any RAID configurations, validating all PCIe lanes are working, all SAS connections are working, firmware version is up to date. Please see attached screenshots showing the firmware version. CAUTIONARY NOTE: The PERC 6/I Adapter RAID controller is a LSI SAS1078 hardware RAID controller with 256MB of cache. It supports RAID0, RAID1, RAID5, and RAID6 configurations. However, because it is a SAS-1 generation card, it does not work with drives larger than 2TB. Also, it does not support 4Kn drives. It is recommended that you only use 2TB or less, 512n or 512e sector size drives. (most drives 2TB or less will be 512n sector size) CAUTIONARY NOTE 2: For optimal performance, you must enable caching on the RAID controller.
