The DN-X120 is a companion mixer for Denon's DN-S1200 Media Player and is a fairly straightforward piece of equipment. As for controls, it has a 3-band EQ with a Full Kill option, VCA, 45mm crossfader & channel faders, Mic Talkover switch, split cue, fader start, a 4 position Input/Transform switch, and a 2-band EQ for the mic input. The I/O includes TRS balanced & RCA unbalanced L/R stereo outputs, line and phono/line (switchable) inputs, and a mic input. It also has it's own external power adaptor. The Denon DN-S1200 is a versatile CD / MP3 and software controller for DJs. The slot-in CD player supports CD, CDR, CD-RW and CD-Text formats. External USB ports enable portable storage devices such as portable hard-drives, iPods and thumb-drives to be connected. This allows the DN-S1200 to access libraries of MP3 files and play CD audio. The DN-S1200 also provides MIDI control over recording, sequencing and DJ software titles.
