The chain is pre-stressed during manufacture to set the chain and improve fatigue resistance, and is engineered for wear resistance in demanding lift and tension applications such as forklift masts, hoist counterbalance systems, and hydraulic cylinder tie-rod assemblies where roller chain is unsuitable.
