I designed this 2 3/4” column mounted system to give us a place to put the power switch and store the chuck key which does not require drilling or removal of the drill head. The mount is reversible to put the switch on the left or right hand side. The system includes a 1/4-20x1” machine screw with nut to secure the mount. The hole pattern follows a standard single gang electrical box, to easily attach a stander power switch.
