The blade length on this model is 4.00 inches and the thickness is 0.185 inches. It comes hollow ground, satin finished and has a pre-pinned 420 stainless steel finger guard attached. This is a great hunting knife blade blank and is a fun, affordable and simple project to complete. The tang has (2) pre-drilled 0.187 inch through-holes for handle attachment (stainless steel pinstock included) as well as a 0.187 inch thong hole for optional lanyard treatment (thong hole tube included). This kit is offered with, and without, handle scale materials. If handle material is desired, they can be ordered as raw rectangular scales, or as pre-machined handle scales, greatly simplifying the building process.
