I made this drum beater, it has a needle felted synthetic wool top, I used pyrography to burn the beautiful decoations into it, I then painted them , it is so unique and sounds wonderful when it hits the drum, the stick is Willow tree and is approx 13 inches long including the needle felted head. The drum head is made from beautiful soft acrylic wool, I used needle felting to stab the wool and shape it into place, this take a very long time using a tiny needle, the head is very secure and will never fly off like some cheaper beaters heads do.
