Check the listing for details. DUAL 6V6 QRP CW TRANSMITTER 160/80/40 METER CW. Condition: Used. Listed at 182.45 USD. Warning! There are no exposed voltage points on the exterior, but inside the chassis, when powered on, the no load dc output from the power supply exceeds 300 volts, which can definitely be LETHAL! Please do not purchase this item if you are not experienced in working on high voltage circuitry. As with any electronic gear of this type, it must be handled with respect to avoid potential injury. This is a 1950's style cw transmitter that works on 12 Volts DC. It works great on 160, 80 and 40m CW. The chassis and transformer shell are 3D prints. RF power output runs between 4 to 5.5 watts, depending on the band, power supply and crystal activity. So everything pertaining to the chassis frame, including what looks like a black power transformer, consists of painted 3D prints, with the exception of wooden side panels. The 3D material is similar to plastic. I make these to order, so please allow about 10 days for shipment, once purchased. Underneath the transformer shell is a 12 volt center tapped small transformer that is used with power transistors to produce the high voltage for the 6V6 plate and screen circuits. Key down the tubes draw about 45 ma current, which, as stated, produces roughly 4 to 5.5 watts output, depending on the band. You'll need a 12 to 14 volt DC supply capable of about 2.5 to 3 amps current capacity. I've been using a 12 volt motorcycle battery for power. If you have a larger car battery or well filtered bench supply, so much the better. The transmitter comes with plug-in coils and one QRP crystal for the bands indicated. With an extra coil and crystal you should also be able to operate on 30 meters. I haven't tried this particular circuit on 20 meters, but with the right coil and crystal, operation on that band is quite possible. The RF tank circuit is a Pi-network configuration, for reduction of harmonics. I guarantee this rig will work if hooked up properly. SHIPPING TO THE UNITED STATES ONLY.
