These are wedges to mount Ecobee Smart Sensors (not the Room Sensor) at a different angle than Ecobee intended. These will point the face of the Smart Sensor at 90 degrees and 110 degrees from the mounting surface.Ecobee recommends mounting their Smart Sensor at 4-5ft high. Which I thought was just too aesthetically obtrusive. Also, since they designed it to look like a door knob, it would be too tempting for a young child. The modified wedges provide for mounting above a doorway (110 degree) and lower than the 4-5ft (90 degree). IMPORTANT: Don't throw away the mounting clips that came with the Smart Sensor. The wedges incorporate the clip. You mount the Smart Sensors using clip + wedge.
