This uncirculated 20 Egyptian Pound note is a standard circulation banknote issued by the Central Bank of Egypt between 1978 and 1998. It is a green, pink, and yellow note that bears the signature of Mohamed Saleh Amin Shalaby, and measures 155 mm x 70 mm. Its obverse side features the Alabaster Mosque, also known as the Muhammad Ali Pasha Mosque, in Cairo. Its reverse side contains the Bas relief carvings that depict the coronation of a Pharaoh from the Chapel of Sesostris I in the Karnak Temple, a hieroglyph of Rameses II on a chariot, and stylized papyrus flowers. Security features include a solid security thread and a watermark of the mask of King Tut-Ankh-Amon.
