This uncirculated 200 Pounds Egyptian note is a replacement banknote issued by the Central Bank of Egypt. It is a purple, green, and brown note that is dated 2009, bears the signature of Farouk Abd El Baky El Okda, and measures 165 x 73 mm. Its obverse side features the denomination as a registration device and the Qani Bay Mosque in Cairo. Its reverse side shows the statue of the Seated Scribe and a cartouche with ‘Egypt is Peace’ in hieroglyphics. Security features include a 3 mm-wide windowed thread with demetalized 200 and ‘TWO HUNDRED POUNDS’ in Arabic text, a 1.5 mm-wide solid security thread with demetalized ‘200 POUNDS’ in Arabic text, and a watermark of an Egyptian Scribe with an electrotype 200.
