This small usb device allows you to transfer instrument banks to and from your PC using the free "EMXP" librarian software. This newly manufacture device works flawlessly on EMU EMAX samplers without the need to adjust any timing in the software, simply plug and play. Although this unit is already flashed with the latest EmuSer firmware, upgrades can be performed over USB as the device ships with a DFU USB bootloader. Simply pressing both buttons on the unit puts it in firmware upgrade mode. When in upgrade mode, the free Atmel "Flip" software can be used to reflash the device. Also included is a EMAX I/II compatible cable and this device/cable combination has been tested on three EMAX samplers.
