I updated these ESS AMT 10b crossovers with new Sonic Caps, new high end copper wiring, replaced the spring pin speaker cable connectors with 5 way binding posts (take spades, bananas and bare wire) and bypassed the thermal breakers. I did this to my own speaker crossovers and the speakers sound fantastic. The new caps will take 30-40 hours to break in. I did these as a back up pair for my speakers but after doing this I realized that I can repair my own crossovers easily if I need to.
