This uncirculated 2 Estonian kroon note is part of the first series of Estonian notes issued by the Bank of Estonia after the dissolution of the USSR. It is dated 1992 and signed by Bank President Rein Otsason and Board Member Siim Kallas. The bluish-gray note measures 140 mm x 69 mm. Its obverse side features the social scientist Karl Ernst von Baer. Its reverse side shows the Tarlu University building. Security features include a solid security thread with printed EESTI PANK and a watermark that shows the Tall Hermann Tower of Toompea Castle.
