Honestly I don't know all the details on this anymore it is chain driven from a square bezel in the front. If I remember this was attached to a remote sensor and it would open or close the screen remotely. I haven't worked with one of these in probably 25 years and full disclosure they were a pain to setup however they were really cool when they were setup with people doing all kinds of customizations with them, so I will warn that this item would probably only be worth it for someone who is mechanically inclined
