This device reaches over the side of the Famag mixer base (with the mixer turned upside down), enabling a spring scale to exert a straight sideways pull on either of the mixer’s drive belts, for measuring and adjusting belt tension. It works for Famag model IM-5, IM-8 or IM-10. Maintaining proper belt tension is critical for mixer operation. The owner’s manual and PHG videos describe and demonstrate how to check and adjust belt tension.
