This item is a durable, 3-ply back plate never installed on a guitar. I am fairly certain it is a genuine Fender part (099-1328-000) but I can't be sure as it has been in a drawer for nearly two decades, but the plastic bag seems to be Fender. It has very slight curvature from age but it will easily straighten out once screwed down.
