A machined roller has tighter pin clearance to prevent the roller from twisting and binding. Concentricity of hole to outer surface is held to .0005" to give smooth shifting action. Fiber compound is heat, wear, and corrosion resistant while being far more durable than the stock plastic rollers that tend to crack/break. Close tolerances give consistent RPM and less binding lowers belt temp for longer belt life. Sold by the set for one clutch (2 rollers and 2 stainless steel washers).
