The replacement banknote has a 6-digit serial number and a fractional alphanumeric prefix that starts with Z/1. Its obverse side depicts a portrait of Queen Elizabeth II wearing the regalia of Order of the Garter, painted by Italian artist Pietro Annigoni. The Coat of Arms of Fiji and the signatures of the chairman of the currency board, Ritchie, and Barnes are also added to the front design. Printed on the reverse side is a thatched house with palm trees, mountains, and harbor in the background. The note is 159 x 66 mm in size and contains a solid security thread and a Fijian head watermark to enhance its security features.
