The chisel shank is a standard 1-1/8" x 1-9/16" so it will fit in most mortisers without spacers. The end of the bit is 1/2" and the overall length is 8-3/4". The bit extends out of the shank by 3-7/16"". Typical Austrian quality which is flawless. A nice long slot to eject chips and razor sharp edges on the chisel.
