It has a 35" wing span and called for an Ohlsson & Rice .60 engine. Any .35 engine would be the same power as an O & R .60 was back then. Of the many sets of PLANS I have for the FOKKER DR-1 TRIPE, this is the largest UC PLAN that I have come across. I have originals of all the Walter Musciano and Paul Plecan DR-1 UC plans in my collection but this one was the largest PLAN published back in the 1950s. All parts patterns are on this PLAN as are construction explanations. I include a copy of the original article as it appeared which features an important cutaway drawing of all of the parts in place in a completed model. Williams Brothers WW-I scale wheels, machine guns and pilot head would be icing on the cake to make this a beautiful crowd-pleaser. As a BONUS I include several pages of highly detailed scale 3-view drawings for the DR-1. To top that, I also include samples of decals and a vintage article covering the history of Jagdstaffel WWI fighter squadron markings. You’ll not find a more thorough offering.
