This lightweight rack comes in a 2-pack of either black or orange and includes screws for mounting to flat wood surfaces. Notches are V-shaped to prevent any movement while accommodating various arrow diameters. They are also spaced to allow clearance between typical fletchings, and arrows can be staggered for even more clearance. The stand holds arrows about an inch off of the mounting surface. The stand can be purchased individually or with one of our squaring tools.An Arrow Squaring Device (Tool) is needed to clean up and square both ends of composite (carbon) arrows after cutting and prior to tip and nock insertion. This enhances arrow flight characteristics and keeps you on target! There are several steel and aluminum tools out there, but they are typically very expensive (2-4x our price) and often have sharp edges that can scratch a carbon arrow, damaging its coating and potentially even the carbon filaments. Our PET plastic tool won't cause this type of damage! We offer two ASD options. One is a 3-post tool, which costs slightly more than 2-post options but offers the best alignment and stability. We also offer a 2-post option that is more economical and will still get the job done!To use these tools, it is highly recommended to install on a flat bench or sheet of wood using all 3 screw holes provided. Next, insert a small square of 220-grit sandpaper and you're ready to go. Turn the arrow in the aligning nocks while applying light pressure towards the sandpaper until the arrow is squared.
