I bought this a few years ago and did use it a few weekends, I properlycleaned the bladder and hoses before storage. Color is more of an orange red, not quite Blaze orange as it looks in photos. This includes one used ( about 2 gallons) online filter ( $25 new) and had only had clean tap water through it. The only indication that the pack is not brand new is the tiny spot in the upper corner covered in the photos.
