Check the listing for details. German French Black Forest Carved Wall Clock. Color: Brown, Condition: Used. Listed at 139.95 USD. This is a German, Black Forest wall clock with a little bit of later French style. The case grain looks like oak, but it is colored in walnut. Cosmetically, I don’t see any major issues. It’s a nice looking clock in a reasonable antique condition. Mechanically the clock is mostly untested. It was not hung and the last service is unknown. However, it was wound and the springs hold. When the crutch is moved, it ticks and when the hands are cycled it chimes. The gong may have been replaced. It’s a nice wall clock with a nice rich finish and some attractive carving. It’s priced to sell so don’t miss it!
