The Germany 5 Mark Banknote was issued by the Imperial Debt Office in 1904 as part of the third and final Reichskassenschein series. The note has a combination of turquoise and blue. The obverse depicts the allegorical woman Germania with a lance on her shoulder and holding an imperial shield. It also shows a seated nude boy holding a dove, symbols of industry, seafaring, and agriculture depicting a ship’s prow, a hammer, an anvil, a gear, a sheaf of wheat, and a fruit. The reverse depicts a smoldering dragon curled around its treasure and a Reichsschuldenverwaltung seal. The note contains a watermark that reveals 5 within a spiral. It is 125 x 80 mm in size and is signed by v. Hoffman, Mucke, Tielsch, Zwicker, and Warnecke. This particular note is in used condition and has a 7-digit serial number.
