The photos are not the best. The clock looks much better in person. The clock measures 13 inches from the peak of the roof to the pendulum. From right to left, it measures 6.5 inches. And protrudes off of the wall about 5.5 inches. Batteries are not necessary. The weights do the work. When the weights reach the floor, you GENTLY pull the two chains down to recoil the clock mechanism. There is a slight ticking sound... I find it quite soothing.
