Because of they are round they adhere to the plastic better than salt. The more glass you add to soft plastic the stiffer and More opaque it will make it. So you will need to add softener to keep your soft plastic flexible. The bigger the um size the less opaque the soft plastic will be.3 sizes to choose from. 40/70um is like icing sugar.70/110um is like caster sugar.200/300um is like sugar.
