It can be used with or without the front bushing installed, although it's easier to install and remove if the front bushing is out.It is very simple to use: Fully assemble the clutch packDo NOT use without the full clutch pack assembly installed, pressure plate and snap ringInstall the tool into the front part of the drumTurn the drum over so the clutches are facing upApply air to the center hole and look for bubbles or leaks from the welded area around the center hubThis will also fully seat the snap ring and therefore gives a more accurate travel measurement We also have other GM transmission tools available and will combine shipping on multiple orders.
