Interesting Greek Gods Bronze chess set. Excellent condition except for the bottom felts. Post war heavy forged bronze pieces. no markings most likely from Italy. excellent! Pegasus for nights, Poseidon as kings, Demeter as queens, Heracles as pawns. Greek soldiers for the bishops. Nice size with Kings measuring 3 and 7/8 in pawns at 1 and 3/4 in. The dark bronze and verdigris green make for a wonderful display. all pictures are high-res. Board and original box not included.
