SEEMS to do very well but due to limited testing and its age I cannot guarantee the full extent of its capabilities, thus being sold for parts or repair i try to describe to the best of my ability the honest condition of each item ebay says a used item must work completly proper and i cant say that you wont find something that i have missed but i check in to several nets with it nightly.i have more than one of these as i collect hallicrafters radios but donot have an extra power supply so i noticed that i failed to take a picture of thr radiowith the top cover in place but it is included and is in nice condition i have never tried the radio on cw nor on all the bands just 40 and 80 meters
