The joints are weak. After a normal winter a good percentage of them are broken. Some are even broken during the installation process. We have designed a much stronger replacement joint. A groove allows the wire to pass by without removing it. Directions:Remove the broken joint and unplug the cable if needed. Needle-nose players are best for this.Slide replacement joint in place.
