This Intermediate Shaft was Built to house and hold the Intermediate Gear in place next to the Cone Gear as well as the Cone Spindle Gear, this allows the Cone Spindle Gear to transfer the rotating power it receives via the Medium Turbine, to the Intermediate Gear which then sends it to the Cone Gear that turn the cleaner in a left or right direction so that way it can cover the entire surface of the pool.
