The hoop has been reset. The shaft has been refinished and the file marks left instead of sanding smooth. It looks rustic. The chisel is 11 inches long with a 24mm blade. The blade is a little off of 90 degrees. The handle was oval from top to bottom and I left it that way. This is a beast of a chisel! It is quite thick and heavy. It is finished with linseed oil. THE CHISEL IS COMPLETELY READY TO USE.
