This 1' adapter cable has the newer connector (keyed version sold after Jan 9th 2009). The connector on a long cable ring scanner (8611A901SRLLASER) is a quick disconnect connector type. It requires a quick disconnect adapter cable to connect the ring to the HX2 or HX3 wearable computers. This is the same cable that normally ships with the 8611A901SRLLASER Ring Scanner. We have a bulk quantity of these unused cables that were removed from a shipment of new 8611A901SRLLASER Ring Scanners. The cables work fine and come as pictured with no other accessories. NOTE: This adapter cable is Not compatible with HX2/HX3 werable computers shipped PRIOR Jan 9th 2009.
