It has been modified to providehigher power, up to +30 dBm, at test ports 1 & 2. It includes two mechanicalSP4T switches which gives it the ability to select between normal S-Parametertest set operation or one of three external sources (input of +30 dBm, 7 Vdc,1 watt max.) and one of three external measurement devices, without changingconnections to the device under test. The control lines for these two internalswitches are routed to a 25 pin sub-D miniature (male) connector on the rearpanel. The two switches require +24 Vdc on one line (to power the switch),four drive lines (TTL level), four sense lines, one ground line, ane oneindicator ground line (for the sense lines).
