The Hungary 100 Forint Banknote was released by the Hungarian National Bank in 1992-1995 with color combinations of reddish-brown, blue, and orange. Depicted on its obverse is a portrait of Lajos Kossuth who served as governor-president of the Kingdom of Hungary. It also depicts the crowned coat of arms of the country. The reverse of the paper bill illustrates three horses pulling a farm cart with two riders as shown in the painting by Lotz Karoly “Escape from the Storm”. The banknote does not bear any security thread and watermark, however, it is signed by Sandor Nagy, Peter Akos Bod, and Sandor Czirjak. The note is 166 x 72 mm in size and is in used condition.
